This standard relates to the assignment because in the standard, it talks about the causes and effects on both of the places.
The steps I took to complete and do well on this assignment was to first make an introduction. After the introduction, Ms. Park made sure that it was good and then I started working on my rough draft. After doing the rough draft for both Rome and Mesoamerica, Ms. Park checked it again and I wrote the final draft. Next, I decorated the poster by printing out some pictures about each paragraph.
This assignment demonstrates that I can write 3 paragraphs for each place(Rome and Mesoamerica) and describe why we learn about them. It also demonstrates that I know why we learn about history and the bad and good things about the places.
I could've improved on my project by actually typing the paragraphs instead of writing them to make it look a lot cleaner and professional. Also, I could've improved on making the decorations more colorful so it can be more eye appealing to other people. Finally, I could've improved on not repeating the same words or subjects over and over again so that the person reading it doesn't feel bored of the things I wrote.
I will apply the skills I learned from this assignment to when I have to write about what the purpose of learning history is and what do we learn from it. Also, I can apply the things I learned from Rome and Mesoamericans' to my life by not doing the cruel things they did in their civilization.
