RST6-8.5: Analyze the steps an author uses to organize a text, including how main sections contribute to the whole and to an understanding of the topic. The assignment relates to the standard because I had to type up an essay about a biome I chose and had sections to write about. Also I had to understand the whole projects meaning to do it.
2. What steps did you take to complete the assignment?
The steps I took to type the essay was to add some cool and interesting facts about my biome. I had to follow the score sheet steps to get a good grade. For example, the score sheet talks about typing up abiotic and biotic factors that are in my biome, so I did and I got a 4(40 out of 40).

This assignment demonstrates that I can type an essay and get a perfect score and that I can improve on science. Also it shows that I can choose a biome and type about its fun and interesting facts.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could've improved my work by typing a little bit more on all sections and added more facts. Also I could've added a cover page for my biome.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in the real world, as an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will apply the skills when I have to write about a biome and have to give information about it. Also type essays in middle, high, or college. I can apply it on knowing all my biotic and abiotic factors, producers, consumers, decomposers, and etc.
