context 1.1f students know how to distinguish life using calendar, seasons, and weather. This standard relates to the project because in the standard it says to talk about life in a certain place using calendar, seasons, and weather and I talked about all 3 things in the project about Korea.
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this Project?
The steps I took to complete this project was to follow the standard and was to actually kind of search up the weather in Korea. Even though I was born in Korea, I came to America when I was 6 months old so basically I was "born here". I had to imagine what it would be like in the winters and summers by remembering what happened in the news. Also I extracted important information from my composition book.
3) This Project demonstrates the following strengths
This project demonstrates that I can extract important information about the weathers and calendar in Korean and summarize what it is like. Also I can try to remember what the class talked about while talking about the weathers in Korea. I remembered someone saying that it felt like Korean only had 2 weathers like L.A.
4) I could have improved my work on this Project by
I could've improved my work by talking more about the lunar calendar but I don't really know about it so... Also I should've gave examples about the holidays that use the lunar calendar.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this Project in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I will apply the skills from this project by using it when I have to write the geography and weather for Korea. Also I can write about the lunar calendar and do an "essay" on it because I know a little about it.
